Building the Dream: The People Behind Snatched Lab

Let me tell you something about starting a business: the Instagram version is a lot prettier than the real version. 😂

‍

There’s the beautiful finished space, the gorgeous branding, the happy clients, and the exciting moments that make it all look effortless.

‍

And then there’s everything nobody sees.

‍

The late nights. The endless decisions. The spreadsheets, schedules, ordering, problem-solving, second-guessing, and approximately a million little things that somehow need to happen at the same time.

‍

Building Snatched Lab from the ground up has challenged me in ways I never expected. There have been moments when I’ve been completely exhausted, moments when I’ve questioned whether I was crazy for taking on so much, and plenty of moments when I’ve simply had to figure it out as I went.

‍

But then you walk into the space.

‍

You see your name on the wall.

‍

You watch a patient leave feeling amazing.

‍

You look around and realize that something that once existed only in your head is now real.

‍

And suddenly, every late night feels worth it.

‍

Then came the people.

‍

As much as I love the creative side of building a brand, I've learned that the people you surround yourself with are what truly bring it to life.

‍

Snatched Lab has grown into something so much bigger than what I originally imagined, and that is largely because of the incredible women who have become part of our team.

‍

Julie Buck, our Master Lash Artist and Licensed Esthetician, brings an incredible level of artistry and attention to detail to everything she does.

‍

Irys Avila, our Master PMU Artist, has built her own reputation for beautiful, intentional work and brings another level of artistry to the Snatched Lab experience.

‍

And behind so much of what keeps everything moving are Ashleigh and Alexia, whose dedication, organization, creativity, and willingness to jump in and handle whatever needs to be handled make a bigger difference than they probably realize.

‍

We are all different. We each have our own specialties, personalities, talents, and businesses.

‍

And that's exactly what makes it work.

‍

I never wanted Snatched Lab to be a place where everyone does everything the same way. I wanted it to be a collective of incredibly talented professionals who are experts in their own craft but share the same philosophy:

Take pride in your work. Keep learning. Take care of your people. And never stop raising the bar.

‍

And we're just getting started.

‍

One of the most exciting parts of building Snatched Lab is knowing that there is still so much ahead.

‍

More education.

‍

More advanced training.

‍

More modalities.

‍

More innovation.

‍

More talented people.

‍

More growth.

‍

And probably a few more sleepless nights along the way. 😂

But I'm learning not to rush through this part.

‍

I'm learning to actually stop and appreciate what we've already built while still being wildly excited about what's next.

‍

Because the goal was never just to open a beautiful aesthetic practice.

‍

The goal was to create something special—a place where artistry, advanced aesthetics, education, and genuinely exceptional people could all exist under one roof.

‍

And when I look around at Snatched Lab today, I realize we're doing exactly that.

‍

We're nowhere near finished.

‍

We're just getting started.

‍
