From Art to Aesthetics: The Story Behind Snatched Lab
At 19, I stepped off a plane from Romania into the United States with little more than a few suitcases, a big dream, and an unwavering determination to create a life of my own.
Long before I ever picked up a syringe, I was drawn to the art of the human face. Growing up, I spent countless hours painting portraits, studying facial structure, proportion, symmetry, and the way light could completely transform what we see. Art taught me to look closely—to notice the details, appreciate individuality, and understand that beauty is never one-size-fits-all.
I didn’t know it then, but those lessons would eventually become the foundation of my career.
My path to aesthetics was anything but effortless. Becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse required years of demanding education, clinical training, sacrifice, and countless late nights spent studying. It meant pushing through exhaustion and uncertainty while staying focused on the vision I had carried for years: combining my passion for art with the precision of medicine.
As my medical career evolved, so did my understanding of what makes aesthetic work truly exceptional. It isn’t simply about adding volume, softening a line, or changing a feature. It is about understanding anatomy, proportions, movement, balance, and the individual person sitting in front of you.
That philosophy became the foundation for Snatched Lab.
Founded in South Tampa, Snatched Lab was created to be a place where medical expertise and artistic vision could exist seamlessly together. Every face is different, and every treatment should reflect that. I approach each patient as an individual—not a template—and design every treatment plan thoughtfully rather than pulling it from a menu.
My continued pursuit of education is central to that philosophy. Advanced anatomical education, cadaver training, ongoing masterclasses, and the latest innovations in neuromodulators, injectables, and laser technology allow me to continually refine my craft and elevate the experience I provide.
For me, aesthetic medicine is where science meets artistry.
It is the ability to understand the complexity of facial anatomy while still seeing the subtle details that make someone uniquely themselves. The goal is never to erase individuality or create a face that looks like everyone else's. It is to enhance what is already there—to create balance, harmony, and confidence while preserving the features that make each person unmistakably them.
When I look back at that 19-year-old girl arriving in America with a few suitcases and a dream, I’m reminded of just how far that dream has come.
Snatched Lab is more than a business I built. It is the culmination of years of education, sacrifice, creativity, and an unwavering belief in the vision I had from the beginning.
Perhaps the most beautiful part of the journey is knowing I’m still learning, still creating, and still evolving.
